Database Cloning for Developers

One of the tedious tasks in Oracle DB lifecycle management is cloning
for development, testing and upgrade, with minimal production downtime.
The session will cover storage cloning and how to automate the process
of creating cloned copies. By using Cloning technology provided by the
hardware vendors, the developers can have their own Db instant to use
for development and testing using instantly created volumes. This
provides the ability to create instant copies to test without affecting
the production environment.
