October 2009 VIJUG Meeting – Unconference Style and Pub

After a lot of upset for the VIJUG site and mailinglist this months meeting we are back in the swing of things and will host a unconference style meeting. Anybody wanting to present or talk about something can just drop and and speak with a bunch of other Java geeks for fun and feedback.

Thursday, 22th October 2009, 18:00-20:00
Presentations:
Anybody wanting to talk about a topic they think might be interesting to the JUG members can drop by and do a short talk or host a short discussion. It’s all up to you. So far we have the following topics on the list:

Manfred Moser Experiences from moving domain name and hosting from shared hosting to a VPS at eApps
Rafael Chaves Developing with the combo Flex/AS3 and Java using BlazeDS

All talks will be followed by open forum discussions and we plan to have plenty of time talking about whatever comes to mind as well. And not to forget we want to head out to a pub to quench our thirst and geek out some more afterwards.
