Android, Relevance Engines and other short talks – May 2012

With a new sponsor – xMatters – stepping up we are going to try and bring a number of small topics and discussions to you and make it a diverse and interesting meeting.

xMatters, 947 Fort St., Suite 620, Victoria, BC,
Thursday, 31th May 2012, 18:00-20:00
We are going to try and do a number of short lightning talk type presentations from anybody willing to step up:

  • Manfred Moser: Impressions from the Android developer conference AnDevCon III
  • Jim Peng/Kelly Robinson: What is a relevance engine?
  • Rafael Chaves: A demo of the TextUML plugin for Orion
  • Paul Hill: Results from the annual dev survey of zeroturnaround

If you would like to present about a topic of your choice for 5 minutes and with the help of Manfred host a bit of a Q&A session afterwards, just send an email or propose your topic on the mailing list and we will add you.

xMatters is proud to sponsor this meeting including providing BBQ and drinks!
All VIJUG members and anybody else interested are welcome to attend. If you intend to come please send an email or just drop by.

We hope to meet you there.
